I've been fortunate to be able to travel a portion of Route 66 from Missouri through Flagstaff, Arizona and my goal is to eventually make it across all 2000+ miles of the Mother Road. It's an eclectic mix of restored hotels and gas stations and those forgotten places slowly returning to nature. If you should ever choose to take on this adventure, make sure you have specialized maps as the road has multiple alignments and can be very confusing.
